Did you know…

…that I drive a MINI Cooper?

I LOVE my car! I always have fun driving it. It’s a good friend to me, listens to my rants and my stories. We like the same music and are totally digging NPR right now. It likes to go fast and complains when we go slow. It takes care of me when it’s raining or snowing and I always feel safe while driving. And surprisingly, it always has enough room for me, Rob, friends, dogs, whatever!

Lately, I have to admit I haven’t been taking the best care of it. A bit of clutter here and there and dust and dog hair all over. There’s a crack in the windshield and the wipers need replacing. The racing stripes got all cracked and yellow these past few years and some of the checkers are a little worn (but not so bad) And of course, it’s in dire need of a wash.

As an early birthday surprise, Rob went and had the racing stripes redone! Now it’s all nice with new bright white stripes. And that only fuels me to give it a good cleaning, fix the windshield and keep taking care of it. After all, it deserves only the best since it’s treated me so well these past 5 years.

*Saturdays seem the best for my facts post. My mind it so excited about the weekend on Fridays that I tend to forget about facts post>_<;

Ok, so it’s really not a “fun” fact, but it does mean I’ll be posting lots more pics on Flickr since I won’t be losing my old photos. More so, I will finally be uploading my photos from Japan!

Did you know…

…that Hook was my favorite movie for a long long time. I watched it so many times that I pretty much know the movie word for word. I even had the toys, trading cards, soundtrack and dressed up as Captain Hook one Halloween as well. And of course, preteen Suzy had a huge crush on Rufio.

Did you know…

…that this was me in high school?!

Yup, that’s me! I used to weigh about 200 lbs back in high school. I lost most of it a few years after that by learning to eat right and healthy and by exercising. The last few years have been the lowest weight I’ve ever been. That was mostly through portion control and being careful of certain foods I eat since I have a sensitive stomach.

Awesome!

Did you know…

…that I speak two languages? I speak english and croatian!

My parents are from Croatia. They taught all us kids and still constantly speak it around the house^_^

I’ve also been to Croatia many times, ‘specially when I was real young. Last time I went was 1998. I hope to go again and show Rob around!

Did you know…?

I was born California, moved to Arizona when I was 12, stayed in Vancouver Canada for 1 1/2 years when I was 20, came back to Arizona for a couple months, stayed in California for a few months after that, came back again to Arizona, moved to New York 3 years ago and then moved down to North Carolina 2 years ago.

Needless to say, I’m done with moving for a while now^_~
