Blythe fun!

I’ve changed my Blythe’s name to Piper. While I like the name Hana, it just didn’t click. We saw Iron Man 2 and I thought Gwen or Pepper would be good since she does look like Pepper Pots, but then I’d always be reminded of Iron Man. Then Piper popped up since I was thinking of Pepper and the name felt real good! It’s a happy and sweet name^_^ We’ll call her Piper Hana!

I tried out making some clothes for her this week. I first tried my own whatever pattern, which failed. Then I found a few patterns online and thought of making some of those first, learn her body and proportions and get the hang of sewing doll clothes. Sewing doll clothes is tricky! It’s tiny sewing and different tricks to get it to look right. 

Here’s what I’ve made for her:

Cute little summer empire dress from Puchi Collective.

I made this skirt myself. It was supposed to be a tank dress, but didn’t turn out. So with a little fold, I made a skirt with a front pleat!

Also. I have to say, Piper’s hair is so lovely now that I washed it. It’s a lot more softer.
