2011 Year End Recap Part 2

Part 2 of my 2011 recap!

I don’t know if it’s because it’s bit more fresh in my memory, but the second half of the year was a lot more fun.

June:

Had my laparoscopy surgery. Said good-bye to my job. And of course my birthday is always a blast!

July:

Day trip to Asheville. Had a great 4th of July cul-de-sac party, I love our neighbors.

August:

EarthFare finally opened! Second surgery, this time a laparotomy. Surgery proved I have infertility issues. My mom came to visit and help take care of me. Started Daily Animal Doodle. Random earthquake in West Virginia that we felt all the way down here.

September:

We got a our Nissan Cube. Got interviewed by Andrea at The Paper Sparrow.

October:

Rob’s birthday and beerfest, both in the same day. Renaissance Festival. Celebrated our 5 year anniversary.

November:

Went to Arizona for my sister’s wedding. Went to New York for Thanksgiving. Saw the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes. Rob ran his first marathon.

December:

Spent a week in Arizona spending time with my family. Baked Christmas cookies. Made the final decision about going back to school.

And that’s 2011 for me!

2012 is going to be tough with me being in school. Money and time will hardly exist, but I refuse to let that bring me down. We’ll learn to live with less and love what we have, which is always a good thing. But I’m so extremely happy and excited about being a student again and learning to design webpages. Me and Rob will be so nerdy together:D I’m also going to finally get a decent portfolio up again and freelance my illustrations, something I’ve been too lazy/scared to do. 

So look out 2012!
