30 Day Meme - Your Favorite Place

We are going on a mini holiday this weekend to Top Sail Beach, North Carolina.

I love the beach! I grew up going to the beach in California, swimming in the Adriatic Sea in Croatia, even relaxing on the cool beaches in Vancouver Canada. I am a Cancer and water is my element and I truly feel in my element at the beach.

I can’t wait to swim this weekend, take a long walk along the sand, relax and watch some cable tv. Also, I’ll be taking a break from the internet too. No laptop and my iPhone will play music and take pictures. 

Oh yeah! I’ll be wearing a bikini this weekend for the first time since I was around 12 years old. My body may not be perfect or fit, it’s quite poochy from all the weight I lost, but I’m tired of being so self conscious and so I’m just going to go for it and wear a bikini! It’s kind of silly, but I’m excited about it and I should be proud of my body and it’s flaws.
